Um...WTF is going on here?

Does anyone know what is up with this Dark Sunrise person that's been in the Abyss lately? It seems there's something fishy going on with him. He always survives combos that kill EVERYONE else, and recovers way too quickly. Anyone else notice this?

That doesn't even make sense, and it's totally irrelevant. How would this ONE person being immune to these same things that kill EVERYONE else have anything to do with me being "nobish"? That's right. It doesn't.

I think you mean Dark Sunset, and the reasons you probably can't kill her are belowwww;
1. You're lagging
2. You missed
and the reason she can reheal so fast is because there are indestructible health and ammo droids everywhere, she can go there whenever and heal or found a health and ammo pack.
I love those things.
And green canisters.

Yes, you're right. I didn't remember exactly. It wasn't like that though. I know I wasn't lagging. I know I didn't miss because I was right up there and she (I guess) took damage. Just not enough to kill her, even though Obi Wan's combo kills everyone else. We were nowhere near any droids most of the time, I know that she didn't have damage reduction every single time. She was the only one I fought that had this happen, so there must be something weird going on. And it's not because I'm a n00b. I had no trouble killing a lot of people a lot better than she is. It was something strange with the game itself, not my tactics. As I said, I did the whole combo. She just didn't die. Then recovered right in the middle of it and killed me instead. I've never seen anyone, no matter how good they are, do that, because it has nothing to do with skill. Once you're in the situation I had her in there should be no way out.

wait, did u say u were using Obi-Wan? tht's the problem then.. Obi's combo kills everyone else, but with vader u have do the combo twice.. or do wat alot of ppl do, backslash them, then finish them off... tht should help, ir ur using Obi, if u weren't then idk wat's wrong

Three things...

What class was the person using?

This is important because Obi-wan cannot kill dooku, vader, or grievous in one combo.

Was damage reduction involved?

This is self explanatory...

Were they close to a healing droid?

The healing droids will heal the person while your killing them, regardless of whether they have damage reduction or not, you won't kill them if your obi-wan comboing them from full health near a droid. It will leave them with a small amount of life at the end of it, but enough to kill you.

I was playing as Obi Wan and she was playing as Darth Maul. I know that combo cannot kill Vader, Dooku, or Greivous in one shot, but it does kill everyone else. I will say again, there were no droids around when it happened, and unless the dark siders had an unlimited supply of damage reduction pickups at their spawn, then that was not the case either, because many time, I caught her soon after she came out of the cantina. I doubt that's the case, because in the next game, she was playing as Ayla the whole time, and it was the same thing.

Your entire combo isn't hitting? One of the first two hits may not be registering when you are attacking.

its bacause the person in question happens to be Maully....... who is a known blockwhore. Uses perfect block weay too much. No offense Maul, but its true...lol
