I have a dispute I'd like to try to resolve.

I was actually playing on the server just a little while ago. Things were going along fine, and I was having fun until all of a sudden, this guy on my team, AoD_Moto% (maybe not the EXACT name, but it was like that) decided that he wanted to start killing me for some reason. It even went into the next game and he continued to team kill me. By that time, Pokenzita had entered, and that is another player I've had a lot of problems with team killing me as well, and he still kept going this time. So I had both of these guys on my team who kept killing me and then when I started to defend myself, I'm the one who got booted for team killing. This strikes me as a bit unfair, so I'd like to see if I can get some kind of resolution here.

I'm not looking for anything to happen here except to get this harassment to stop. I don't know what Moto's problem was, but I think he just needs to get over it. As I said though, I have had constant problems with Pokenzita. Every time I'm in a game with him, he (or she) seems to try to kill me to the exclusion of all else, even if I am on the same team. I just want to be able to play the game without having to constantly watch my back for my own team mates. I always do my best to play by the rules. Any time I ever team kill or steal a kill, it is rare because it is by accident. You guys know how things can happen in there. But there have been many times where I have tried to go into the server and I am kicked right away. I never understood because I'm pretty sure I'm not one of the problem players. I have seen a whole lot worse.

Ok, heres a classic case of only beeing able to do somethign about what i actually see happen. What i saw to my eyes was you kill your teamate. What may have led up to the instant you attacked them i dont know, because i was not there to see it. An during the heat of battle, i cant always see every post in the announcement bar, so i cant see if ppl are tking all the time. Trust me if i see someone repeadedly tking, then yes they will be booted. Problem is like i said, i only saw you killing your teamate. Its just not a good idea to kill your teamates even if they instigate it for this exact reason. An admin doesnt see what leads up to a teamkill, they only see the teamkill which is against the rules and punishable. So next time someone starts doing shit like that, dont become the vigilante and try to take it into your own hands, try to get an admin's attention on the cbox and see if they can do something about it. Had I known that that was what had lead up to the instant, i probably would have acted differently in that instance. However, that does not mean i would not still have booted you for teamkilling. You broke a rule just like they may have, which only means there would be three ppl booted rather than just one. Remember i only saw what you did and also remember it is just not good to teamkill period.

when you get kicked right after joining thats a thing called "Autoboot", it boots people who try to join, caused from booting too many people in one day (go figure)

pokenzita is on the brink of a permanent ban, so i guess ill be watching him more closely myself then, as for moto...ill try to figure out his problem, tell me if he goes at it again and ill ban him for a day

as for teamkilling in defense...i sometimes try not to do it, ill just keep pushing them away until either they get the message or they annoy me so much that i actually have to kill them, should try doing that too, cause an admin will obviously know something is happening if your trying to keep that person away from you

also, going into server and being automatically booted isnt neccesarily you having done something wrong. It could be auto-boot which is for all intensive purposes a glitch in the server. happens to everyone

Okay. Thanks for explaining that auto-boot thing. And Mephiles, that is exactly what happened to me too. I tried to ignore it at first, and just keep going on. Moto just kept coming after me even after I pushed him away several times. There was a point where I stood and faced him, trying to show I wasn't going to retaliate, and then we went our seperate ways. Just a few minutes later though, he started killing me again. I guess now I know though. I won't do it, even in defense from now on. Thanks.

If you see me or maybe another admin on the cbox I can fix your auto boot if it's happening in abyss. I will have to ban your for 5 minutes when the "booted from session" box is still on the screen. Then you press x and leave, I take the ban off the list, and you can join without getting booted.

Shouldnt this be more in the tattle section?

The MAIN point I wanted to make was that I thought it was unfair that I was the one booted, rather than the people who broke the rules over and over again and pushed me into it. I thought it was more appropriate to put that here.

Depends what admin it is, a lot just turn a blind eye to that sort of thing, unless it happens to them. Best thing you can do is to push them away when they come close and then crouch to them. Even if it's not your fault it is better to crouch and apologize, then to have to deal with them trying to tk you all map.

nah i only crouch if its really mybad or if some1 just randomly crouches to me. . .ill just crouch back for fun xD

I think we should just switch the teamkiller's team so they can't tk the guy even if they want to... lol. And if they start tking people on the other team THEN kick them. I don't like banning tkers unless what I'm seeing is obviously unprovoked, or they kill the person they're tking while he or she is crouching at them or something.

If they kill me for no reason and i haven't even seen them on my team before that point I'll ban them for 3 days lol.

Speaking of tking... I fucking hate those people who come up to you while you're healing and tk you and kill the droid(not possible in abyss but they still tk). I will ban your ass for a week for that bullshit, especially when i haven't even gone near you before that point. Same with people who save the other team... idiots... so admins if you see week bans by me that's usually because they did one of these two things.

It doesn't matter, i didn't even see this topic in existence. It would be locked if i shouldn't have replied no? And the post was relevant... just because it's an oldish topic doesn't mean any posts made in it after a certain point that contribute are illegitimate. This forum hardly has new topics anyway.
