why are you so confident its gonna end in 2012? There have been so many end of the world guarantees like 2000 and 1985 but we're still alive. Yes I know it is where the Mayan calendar stops but I've heard it's the beginning of a new world era, not the end of the world. Lol thats wat I think.

Mayans weren't the only ancient civilization to come up with the year 2012...2012 has been around before and after them.
Also...you're really gonna call them lazy? They were one of the most intelligent civilizations of their time, they knew mathematics, they also figured out alot of things others figured out much later, but gave credit to the latter, instead of those that had originally found it.

I had never said that the Mayans said that 2012 would be the end of the world, they went as far as they needed to in their calendars and thus stopped it at that cycle.
Also...you're right Sinister, that movie looks great.

Really? cuz everything I've read and watched has said 12/21/12. I've read at the library, the bookstore, internet, and basically anything I can get my hands on. And I've seen a few documentaries on the History channel....speaking of which....do NOT watch the History channel all of the time, there are some things on it that are VERY inappropriate...
