why do i keep getting lagged out of every server ? it happens every time i play in a server for 15 minutes and then it says my connection is lost, is this happing to everyone or just me scratch

?

A few things could be happening. . .1, your internet cord going into your ps2 might be loose or it might be loose to where its plugged in like an outlet or something. 2, its could just be the serv your in. 3, The same thing was happening with Dagen a little bit ago, after about 15-2 of playing in a server he would make everyonelag out, then it stopped after a little while. . .so theres most likely nothing going on; its just a coincedence that its happening at the end of evrey battle. Just give it a while to see if it stops Wink

It's not a coincidence because it never happens when she is doing good. I'm not trying to be an asshole but c'mon... everyone knows Rabbit resets her score.

well sinister lately i have been lagging out way too much. like it says my network cable is disconnected, and i'm like wtf? and i connect again, join a server and then i lose connection to game spy get booted again and then finnaly i can join back.

yeah and yesterday I was with overlord, atmosphere, and some other guy in the abyss, I counted to see how many times I got lagged out. I counted 15 fucken times in like not even 2 hours!!

And sinister I'm not even gonna say more than I need 2 cuz what u just said is reflected right back at u. I see u leave when ur getting owned by some of my teamates, then u come back like 10 seconds after. Oh, and I'm not "trying to sound like an asshole".
I dont care about dam scores, for all u know there could be a guy who gets a score 78-2, and he could be killing nothing but noobs playing for the first time. its about how u play overall, being a good teamate, not being a asshole or dumbass by stealing kills, actually getting really good kills, u know what I mean lol.

and snakey I checked my internet cables and everything, they seem to be plugged in right. I was thinking that someone is stealing my internet connection, cuz my bro's laptop is getting pretty slow too.

in dsx the server rabit lags out /=o and we wasnt even playing

I learned when this happens to me every 6 months its my phone jacks getting dirty so call your service provider and get new ones which will speed your net back up and keep you playing steady.

i read about it, and it could be a combo of having too much stuff going on through your router, causing it too overload or, it could be the router itself, which is what my problem is.

Its probably your bro`s laptop causing the stuff LOL if theres to much going on on your internet connection at once and the comp is slow itself it`ll be making it even more slow and laggy in-game

I haven't reset my score since probably last year. If you know me, you know I get random disconnections all the time. Sometimes I get them several times a day, sometimes I get them once or twice over a few weeks period. It varies but what is always constant is this... My screen freezes for a second, then it brings up the load screen and I'm booted back to the main menu with a pop-up that says "Connection to GameSpy ID Servers Lost" or my screen freezes for a sec and it does the same thing but the pop-up says "Connection lost, please check ethernet cord" or whatever it says.

Believe it or not, I also leave and come back to be placed on the other team usually trying to keep the game even, however sometimes ya get placed on the same team, thus making it look like a score reset. Other times I leave when I am just trying to play casually, but the other team finds it necessary to play like it's the deciding match between SDJ and JOG... then I leave to go play elsewhere but a lot of the times there are no other servers up or they are full so I am forced to come back.

In conclusion... No I do not reset my score any longer. I don't really ever need to... a bad game for me is a great game for most and I hate to word it like that but it's the truth. And no I do not get owned. If I am being killed consecutively I am most likely not caring or busy on the phone and/or computer.

Now that that's settled... Let me ask you this, if you are being honest...

Are you lagging out or are you being disconnected? There is a difference.

EXACTLY sinister I can play all elite and what not sneaking around beating on people but that just isnt always fun so I just go head on retarded crazy guy lol thats my casual since its so entertaining. I get semi bad scores doing it sometimes but I notice everybody now is so protective and never go out of their way to take a risk they just sit on those 3 or 4 same large roofs on right side of map waiting for eachother to attack, if you do attack they sit and block its like holy shit you seriously bought this game to sit there lol. In call of duty dude if you sit there your dead so fast you gotta constantly be moving always outthinking your next opponent and it really is like bloody real life war so ya wish people played like they mean it and YES you get better at killing people fast and topping the score charts easily if you do it makes you loads better than sitting there. You can either get like 40-0 or 90-30 do the math and tell me which one is better for your team lol and btw 30 deaths those probably caused people to kill the people that killed you thus making it even more effective. Anyways back on topic lol.

The little filters attached to your phone lines will run down and make your net slower. If your internet has always been laggy and kicking you out then its not the filters its either your internet speed is too slow, someone else is using the internet same time as you(your brother playing warcraft), or your router is messed which is rarely the case but it happens. Server has nothing to do with it and PS2 has nothing to do with it very very rarely otherwise youd hear it more often so look into the filters because just like a microwave nobody reads the little instruction booklet that says you have to replace this or that 6 months or a year from now then they start hating on the company that sold it to them lol some people sheesh.....

u call that bad i wenever i join a server is like a 1/20 chace ill geht 2 play on Jedi b/c iht alwasy says "Connection To Host Lost" altho i check everything reset everything still dusent workk

well when i start playing it freezes, shows the little icon of the enternet disconnection on the lower right hand corner, then after 10 seconds of that it says "connection to host lost"

But i just noticed that it mostly only happens when i play in the abyss, and sometimes the nsj server scratch

AND lol, sometimes if my phones rings and i pick it up my connection is lost then 15 minutes later when i get my connection back it then says "Connection to gamespy ID lost"

And Demo its not an overload of stuff my bro is doing on his cpmuter beacuse he dosent have it anymore, and r u saying to get new phone hooks? or w/e? cause i allready got that like 2 months ago lol.

naw theyre little rectangular things attached to your phone wire that plug into the wall. They keep phone calls from disrupting your internet connection which is just what you decribed as being a problem so get those checked.

What these guys said... My internet used to do that all the time about a year and a half ago. Check with your ISP before you do anything though. What sort of internet do you have anyway? Cable, DSL, etc...?
