The current warning/boot/ban policies Vide

Here is the current policies for how warnings, boots and bans will work in the server.

First will be a warning, up to three if the admin wishes. The first one is now a policy, any others after that are a courtesy.

Next will be a boot.
Then it is a ban for 10 minutes.
Then a ban for 30 minutes.
Then a ban for 1 hour.
Then a ban for 12 hours.
Then a ban for 1 day.
Then a ban for 3 days.
Then a ban for 1 week.

Repeat offenders within a due amount of time will just pick up from where they left off.

Example: Jacob breaks the no glitching rule until the point where he is banned for 10 minutes. When he comes back, he breaks his habit and no longer glitches, but then starts again in, let's say, 2 hours. Instead of restarting to the warnings and boot, he would then just be banned for 30 minutes, picking up where he left off.

"Fall off time", meaning how long before their slate is clean of broken rules, will be a relative 24 hours.

Example: Rat breaks the no spawn camping rule until the 1 hour ban, once he is back in the server he cooperates with the rules, and does not break any again for around 24 hours, or until he has had his fall off time. Then he breaks the rules again 2 days later. Instead of getting banned for 12 hours, he is instead reset back to his first warning.
_______________________________________________________________________

Once a person has gotten up to a week ban, when they are unbanned they are still not forgiven for another 24 hour grace period, where if he breaks the SAME rule again, he will be re-banned for yet another week. If it is another rule though, then he will start with a warning, so long as it is not the same rule. This is given in case the person maybe accidentally broke a rule, he would not be punished to the fullest extent immediately.

Admins, if you do not have the player-menu to do some of these timed bans, please refer to the admins only private forum in order to get a hold of them, as well as the custom rules to ban for.

Thank you for taking the time to read and understand this, if you have any questions, please make a new topic asking about it.
